Family

Bob married Barbara (Nelson) in May of [1985], and they have two children. They currently reside in Greenville, South Carolina, where they can be close to their son, Jonathan and his wife, Anna (Ream), and their 5 children. They have also had the opportunity to visit their daughter, Anna (Vallier) and her husband, Luke Tanis, and their 3 children, who serve as missionaries to Malta. Spending time with their grandchildren brings immense joy to the Valliers.

Education

Bob Vallier was born in the province of Quebec, Canada, and immigrated to the United States at the age of nine. His family settled in the Hartford, Connecticut area. In high school, he attended a youth event at a local church, and ultimately accepted Christ as his Saviour.

Seeking further education, Bob enrolled at Bob Jones University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in [Accounting] in 1975. He then pursued [advanced studies] and obtained a Doctorate.

Statement of Faith

I believe there is one true God: the triune God the father, Jesus the son and the Holy Spirit. I believe that Jesus Christ was fully human - yet fully God, and that He suffered and died to save the world from sin and death. That He died to save me.

I believe that the Bible is the inspired, unerring word of God, given to us in love and grace. I rely on the reading of the Word to guide my journey of faith, and to bring me closer to the Lord. My life’s affirming verse is 1 Samuel 12:24.
